Internship

Our Firm is currently accommodating an intern, Mr. Gnoun Sothea. Sothea is earning his Master degree in Land Law at the Royal University of Law  and Economics. He is at the same time a lawyer student at the Lawyers Training Center.

Recruiting new staff

In May 2011, our Firm welcomes Mrs. KORK Boren as the Office Manager. Boren just came back from Japan with her Ph.D. degree in Law and Political Science issued by a top-ranked Japanese university, the Nagoya University. In addition to the intellectual property law, which was her field of research for Master and Ph.D. degrees, Boren is completely equiped with deep knowledge of Civil Law, Civil Procedure Law, and Commercial Law. Boren speaks Khmer, English, French, and Japanese.

Prior to the arrival of Boren, the position of Office Manager was held by Mr. KEO Virak, who left us in late April 2011 to pursue further study. Before joining us, Virak had been in various managerial positions in international organization, private company, and association in and outside the country. During his 2-year master program in international development in Japan, Virak served as a vice president of a student body helping bridge communication between students and the school management. From mid-2006 to 2008, he was supporting Democracy Project of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in his capacities as a legal assistant, project facilitator reporting directly to the project manager, and office manager supervising national staffs. He also used to work for a foreign law firm based in Phnom Penh and was academic manager in a private English university.
